In this news release from the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC), ABSNC announces it has reaccredited BCEN’s Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) certification program. Initially accredited by ABSNC in January 2019, the TCRN is now accredited through January 2029.
BCEN’s Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN) ground transport nursing certification program earns initial accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Nursing Specialty Certification (ABSNC).
Throughout July, BCEN is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) certification. Introduced by BCEN on July 24, 1993, over 5,800 RNs hold the CFRN credential today.
The nomination window for the 2023 National Certification Champion Award is open until July 15. This annual national award recognizes healthcare providers for their commitment to emergency, pediatric emergency, trauma and transport nursing excellence. One winner will be selected in each category: small healthcare organization, large healthcare organization and health system. Hospitals, health systems, emergency departments, trauma centers and transport programs are invited to apply.
