World’s First Burn Nursing Specialty Certification Launched by BCEN

BCEN announces the worldwide launch of the Certified Burn Registered Nurse (CBRN) certification, the worlds first specialty certification for burn nurses. The announcement marks the public debut of a new burn nursing video and the newest Commitment to Excellence piece, Burn Nursing Excellence: The CBRN.

2023 National Certification Champion Award Winners Announced by BCEN

BCEN announces its 2023 National Certification Champion Award winners in 3 categories: WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital in Ephrata, Pennsylvania (small healthcare organization), Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia (large healthcare organization), and RWJBarnabas Health Emergency Departments throughout New Jersey (healthcare system).

Nominations Now Open for the BCEN 2023 National Certification Champion Award

The nomination window for the 2023 National Certification Champion Award is open until July 15. This annual national award recognizes healthcare providers for their commitment to emergency, pediatric emergency, trauma and transport nursing excellence. One winner will be selected in each category: small healthcare organization, large healthcare organization and health system. Hospitals, health systems, emergency departments, trauma centers and transport programs are invited to apply.
